| Arriving at dawn the dive team set up the
gear and Flat Stanley suited up. After descending into
the warm pacific waters Flat Stanley swam into the entrance of
a large cavern and there were the creatures that he had heard
so many bad things about.
"They don't look so dangerous to me" he thought.
Slowly crawling along the bottom Flat Stanley slowly
reached out and started to slowly to stroke the tale of a
large male who was sleeping on the floor of the cavern.
After a few moments he was able to work his way up until he
was petting the shark. "You know what big fella" thought
Flat Stanley "I'm going to name you Spot just like a big dog"
and that is how from that day on Flat Stanley had his own pet
shark named Spot.
Think this story isn't true well it is! George and
Jeannette have a number of sharks at tunnels beach that they
have worked with for many years. Treating the animals
with care they have been able to slowly get them to let
themselves be petted. Spot, Mister Ed and Slasher are
just a couple that they see everyday. Seen on TV Videos and
even the in flight movie of Hawaiian airlines, George and
Jeannette want everyone to know that sharks are a beautiful
creature that needs to be protected not feared.
