In our "Things To Do" section, we have separated the island activities into three categories based on where the companies spend the majority of their time.

Keep in mind...

Unlike activity desks or a concierge, we do not recommend a company based upon what they might pay us. We recommend a company based upon the job that they do and that's all! Unfortunately, activity wholesalers and concierge desks work only on commissioned basis so they only recommend those companies that pay them the most ( we have been hit up for as much as 30%! Just to make a phone call? Come on guys get real!). Be careful when booking activities on the island or online.  Sometimes that 'great deal' turns out to be an awful experience.  Reputation is what you want to go with.  If someone said they had a great time with a company then you most likely will too. Don't be afraid to ask questions and if someone pushes you hard to go with someone that you don't want to go with, just say 'no'! After all, this is your vacation and you want the memories to be of fantastic experiences...not of time or money wasted.

Now don't get us wrong -- we don't hate activities companies. There are quite a few that do an excellent job of steering you towards the right companies.  The Marriott and Princeville resorts are a couple that seem to care more about experience that you will have then the money that they get. 

We feel that all of the companies we list in this section do an outstanding job. We hope that you agree. If there is someone you want to recommend, let us know...we will check them out.

If by some chance you have a bad experience with someone that we recommend just remember...we didn't really like them either. They threatened us and made us recommend them.
